Terms of service

These terms apply to Gateway Manifest at gateway-manifest.eightstars.app ("the app"), operated by EightStars ("we"). Contact: hello@eightstars.app.

What the app is

Guided audio for relaxation, focus, motivation and mental rehearsal of goals. Sessions are generated for you by AI from your first name, your goal and your answers, and spoken by a synthetic voice.

It is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and it is not therapy. We make no promise of any outcome. Don't stop any treatment or make financial decisions because of a session. If you are in crisis, contact a professional or a crisis line (in Lithuania: Vilties linija, 116 123).

Safe use

Only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Never while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or doing anything that needs your attention. Keep the volume at a comfortable level. If you have epilepsy, a hearing condition or a heart condition, ask a doctor before using binaural audio.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16. Some topics, such as Body & Habits, require you to confirm you are 18 or over, and are not offered to people who indicate a history of eating disorders.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Subscriptions

• The membership includes every protocol and costs €59.99 a year or €9.99 a month. It renews automatically every year or every month, at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel.
• The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial once per account. €59.99 is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Earlier per-protocol and All Access plans keep renewing at their current price until you cancel or switch.
• You can cancel any time in Settings, then Subscription (Stripe customer portal). You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Prices include VAT where applicable.

Content

Your sessions are for your personal, non-commercial use. The app, the voice, the tone beds and the wiki remain ours. You own your notes and answers; you give us permission to use them only to write your sessions and run the app.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available but can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change features; if a change materially reduces what you paid for, you can cancel and we'll refund the unused part of your period.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. EU consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence. You can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
